So my sister, </a></b></a>fizzygp, started a new school in the past weeks. Not one I particularly remembered hearing about, which is sort of suprising considering when people ask me where I went to high school, they generally don't recognize any of the three (all right here in Santa Cruz). On Tuesday she was telling me about how cool her English Literature teacher is, and about how she plays World of Warcraft.

I was mentioning this to </a></b></a>hedgerose yesterday (I know hedgerose from mutual friends in high school, she's in linguistics up here, too. My grandmother knows her mother from quilting, and her brother and my sister know each other from band at Santa Cruz High). She knew the school as it turned out, because the people in charge used to teach her ex-boyfriend before they started the school. She mentioned as how the school was composed of the geekiest geeks who ever geeked.

Then this morning my sister was talking about school and mentioned "Kurt" getting lots of fish for dissection. I thought, wait, "Kurt", "geeks"? Is this what is think it is? Yes, it's the school downtown in the building that used to be Bayside Children's College? (Where my brother's ex-girlfriend's girlfriend who I went to junior high with went between then and now.)

Yes, it was. I said oh yeah I know that place, Kas was teaching there, </a></b></a>architeuthisdux's old housemate.

"Kas is still teaching there, that's the English teacher I was telling you about!"

Yeah, I know Kurt, too. Kas was running a D&D game at the school. Oh is that the game that </a></b></a>architeuthisdux was going to on Sundays? Yeah.
