News Flash! Lore Sjoberg's brain is full of bored ferrets!

Lore talks about Attention Plethora problems, and a lot of it is very familiar to me. I've been watching movies recently to go to sleep, because neither music nor reading take up enough of my attention anymore. (also carrying things around to do with your hands: one of the reasons I made as much progress in contact juggling as I did, though these days I find it easier to just tourettes in fingerspelling)

I'm at work. At the computer labs at my school. It's 20:00 and the last finals of the quarter ended an hour ago, so even the people who were held as long as possible are done with the quarter now.
There're three customers in a lab of 50 computers.

Nobody's got any more assigments, projects, or studying left to do. The only people who'd be in here at this point are those who think sitting around the computer lab is a good way to kill a slow evening. Needless to say, these are not the ones who are asking me a lot of questions.

I watered the plants.

I'm so bored, not only am re-loading the ZBB to see if anyone's posted in the last 5 minutes (occaisionally, not nothing terribly interesting), not only am I re-checking my e-mail to see if anybody's sent me any e-mail in the last 5 mintues (nope, they haven't, except the occaisional wathced thread notice for those ZBB posts), I'm also re-loading my friends page every five minutes to see if anybody's posted anything to LJ (they haven't).

I was considering subjecting this post "My Little Sister Willow", just to see if any would get it, but I decided not to.
